A video call, or a visit if you are in Tuscany. You tell us who does what, which files and tools you use and where things get stuck.

We draw the real flow: requests, quotes, orders, support, documents. For each task we estimate hours, errors and cost, so you know what automating it is worth.

SIMEST's dedicated artificial intelligence section has been open since 21 September 2026. It is subsidised lending with a possible, non-automatic grant. We do not file applications or guarantee approval: we prepare documented costs for review with your advisor. Information checked on 26 October 2026.
Loan and grant, separately
Up to 10% grant, capped at €100,000, with a qualifying condition, including a 100% AI commitment. Special energy terms up to 20–30%, capped at €200,000, apply only to specific categories and applications by 31 December 2026. The remainder must be repaid; interest accrues during the first two years.
The 100% AI route
Italian companies with at least 3% direct exports, or at least 10% of turnover with Italian companies each exporting at least 3%, committing 100% to eligible AI expenses. Two complete financial years and all other conditions are also required. You choose the supplier freely.

How much does the first analysis cost?
Nothing. The first 20-minute video call is free and with no commitment. If a deeper mapping is needed, you get a quote first.
Do you need to be on site?
No. We work remotely across Italy and abroad; for companies in Tuscany we can meet at your premises.
Which ERPs do you integrate with?
We design the connection around the system you use: from CSV/Excel export to a direct connection, depending on what your ERP allows.
Can the project be funded?
We evaluate SIMEST Digital Transition with your advisor: company eligibility and each expense, including SaaS fees, must be checked before purchase. We do not guarantee grants or approval.
How long before we see results?
We start with a single process, usually quotes or support, and put it to work within a few weeks. Then we extend.
Can AI make mistakes with my customers?
Every outbound action requires approval from a person on your team. Automation prepares, you decide.
